I have been busy too the last two weeks with tax clients that extended their tax returns.

But the bank account will get bigger!

The big problem since Katrina is that their are not that many parties. Haunted houses, yes! But you don't wear costumes to them.

My big push is for Mardi Gras. I always have a party sometime two.

I belong to a tour group that has all kinds of socail functions and iIrecommended that they start having costume parties for Halloween and Mardi Gras. The recommendation is a GO, but not for this Halloween since the tour director will be just coming back from a tour to NY.

I told her if she has one for Mardi Gras I would come as my Martha Stewart character and help her as a "co-hostess". Lol! I think I put my foot in my mouth this time.

well, got my reaper gift done, i think my reapee is going to love it. took a lot of work and was stressing i wasn't going to make it in time, but i send it out today. just got to get a box and tracking number and off it goes. so how are you this fast approaching halloween. anything worth talking about i'm up for it. stop by

Wow...not long now! I was looking at the Pumpkinrot site last night and going through all the pictures on there of the stores with all their goods for sale. It really brought back memories of my trip to the states last year! I get so frustrated when you see all the wonderful things their shops are full of and then you think of what small pickings we get over here! I grant you, things are getting better. I have made several trips to TK Maxx in the last fortnight and they have had some really cool stuff but the price does make it somewhat prohibitive. Just remember.....leave plenty of room in your suitcase for all the wonderful things that you will bring back!

Projects are coming along slowly....work is getting in the way somewhat and my daughter starts her new school tomorrow (going up to senior school )so have been busy getting prepared for that too, but I am trying every day to at least one little thing. I have my parents making things for me too so that helps How about you? Are you making things this year or not as you are going away?
