thanks for the compliment on the pistol. to answer your question, I made it (best part is it was all stuff I already had in my garage). I cut out a rough plywood shape, sanded it, used a dremmel to cut an aluminum tube in half to look like the gun barrel was set into the wood, added some metal odds and ends, and stained/painted it. took the better part of a saturday working off and on but it was time well spent!
