Shape of the body fooled me, looks a lot like a C-1. I play an Ibanez S540EX, DiMarzio PAF Joe at the neck, Mo' Joe at the bridge. I considered active pick ups, but I decided on the DiMarzios for the versatility. I do wish they had a little more bite. I'm with ya on the fun........ Good thing too, cause I've never made any money at it. lol
