Thanks all - you are so sweet :) :) :) Generally you figure out what voltage and current (amps) the batteries were supplying to the device and then wire up a AC wall wart to match it. I have boxes of saved wall warts and it's not a big deal. But, if you don't - a trip to Radio Shack will supply you with one but be warned - they aren't the cheapest things. Once you have the right wall wart then you solder the wires up to the terminals (positive and negative) that are in the battery pack....

I'm with Mickkell on this... go Ebay and pick up a nice 'real' brand unit for cheap. I've bought a few for around 40-60 bucks each. They usually are older office projectors with some hours left on their bulbs. Since you are using them only once per year and the occasional back yard movie, they work fine. The ones with a zoom work well as it helps to be able to crop your image to your display. It gives you some leeway in setting up the location for your projector.

If you have a huge wine shop like that where you live it can be an incredible resource. The people who work there REALLY want to help you. They have haunter's passion about Halloween but with wine. Most customers who go in there are too embarrassed to ask for help but they shouldn't be. Remember Wine Nerds = Halloweeniers. ;) Heck, sometimes when you start asking questions they will attempt to open your head and flood it with info. They love to help just like haunters.

Have fun. I'm like a kid in a candy store when I go to a full-bore wine shop. This one was a favorite in KC: http://www.lukasliquor.com/wine.html

Yes, that is it. I got mine at Spec's ( a Texas liquor store). I've also gotten it at Whole Foods. It's a South African wine so it might be in a regional section at your liquor store. Pleased that you went to look for it. I'm curious if you'd like it. Though it's sweet - it's still got a serious edge of the red wine flavors. Probably a great way to dip your toe into red wines to see if you like them.

I'd bet that hangover was epic... Wanted to throw this one your way in case you are still on the search for a good entry level red. This is a sweet one but not in the usual candied sweet, artificial stuff you usually find. It's from South Africa and called Jam Jar Red. A combo between Shiraz and Moscato. It's got a sweet edge to take off from the serious red fruits you get from the Shiraz. I'ts not too expensive - around $8 a bottle. Color: dark red with purple highlights. Nose: Juicy...

Hey back. That file is called a 'Steel File Cleaning Brush'. It's neat because the wires are bent back and so you get extra grip to help shave away the Great Stuff. Google 'steel file cleaning brush' to help you find it but pretty sure I got it at Home Depot years ago. I'd include a link but the software doesn't allow me to post it right now for some reason. Holler if you don't see it. Oh, and you are still going to get a lot of snow - only finer. heh.

Would you like to have a single haunted house, or an attraction with multiple houses? My answers are: As Soon As Possible My haunt Will be Named 'Warehouse(#)' The # will be replaced with whatever year the haunt was established (So if i...
