Thanks so much Hey, if you want I can start nagging you about Beloved. Nagging is fun ...kidding
Terra I was just reading the thread about the inversions & decided to take a peek at your blog I saw you had listed>>>I loved it..its great!! I so look forward to what you are planning next. I have one goal this year & it is to finish the mourning girl & barbie doll tombstones.
Isn't he just a doll! I so appreciate him dressing up for me...and I do make it worthwhile for him Sure, you can age the columns even with them being lighter in color. As long as you use a darker version for the tea-staining and such and a lighter version for the dry brushing you are fine. Afterward you can then even go in with other colors to give different age accents and moss and stuff. If you swing by this tutorial you will see I used a rust and green color too: http://www.halloweenforum.com/members/terra-albums-tutorial-haunt-entrance-gate.html
Terra....how in the world do you get your hubby to let you dress him up like that for halloween.....do you cast a spell or what?lol My guys won't dress up at all.
Ok Terra I have 2 really bad episodes /month with this crap & its hurts like hell the rest of the month but I gotta do something. Right now I can't do anything as this one will be over in 2-3 days & I have till the 6th till it kicks in again & last for 5-6 days, then I'm back in bed. Anyways I'm trying to get ready to start projects, 1st I'm gonna age my cemetery pillars. Going over to watch your aging video right now. One question.....my pillars are painted a very light grey color almost like light blue. Can I still age my pillars & have them turn out ok with them being that light a color? Muf
Greetings Greetings to my Terra, Hope you are well>>>>>did you think I fell off the planet??hahahah I did!!! BUT I have managed to find my way back!!lol I got some things posted on the general board for the prop building group & please check out that guys styrofoam carvings>>>like wow...they are something!! Ok Talk Soon! Mama Muffy
Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas!
I completely understand about trying to get pictures on Halloween night...it's nuts. I tried a new thing and wasn't sure it worked out but it did. Hubby works for Cisco so he gets a big discount on Flip Camcorders (cheapy camcorders). So, we got two of them and hung them from the decorations and just let them run. It was a treat to see what we got when I played it back. Hee! Here's a link to the video I made of them. Be warned though, it's 8 minutes long and so see it, if you want, when you have time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jQ1mKSQGNc
Hey Terra......bad news...not to many pictures this year. Did not have time to take any before halloween night. Jeez we were jammed packed here even with the crappy weather. I figured Sunday I would shoot photo's before packing for the trip. We were leaving Mon. morning. Well we had a horrible rain & WIND storm. It blew my whole cemetery down. So anyways just got home late last night. I overdid it way to much & my feet are killing me. I don't get out of the house much anymore so it was great all we did & saw. I took over 900 pictures....can you believe that??lol It was great being w/ my chi-town family. So tomorrow I will take pics of what Jerry had left up before we left. Darn he torn down my funeral parlor. Will get them posted as soon as I can. Gotta get the family photo's(from halloween night) done 1st. Joe said people already stopped at the house to see when I was getting back. Halloween night was the craziest ever. I'll fill you in soon. Looking forward to reading about how your night went too! Muf
