Using 1 1/2 inch thick blue or pink foam, cut out 2 copies of your design.
Now, if you are going to put these outside, you must do this step. Foam will sail like a kite unless you hold them upright somehow. I pound two stakes of rebar into the ground and slide the tombstone over them. You will need to make two channels in the tombstone so the rebar has something to glide into (I use 1/2" PVC pipe). So, follow these next instructions:
Determine where you would like the channels for your 1/2 inch PVC pipes to be and cut out using the multi-purpose cutting attachment for the Dremel. Do this on both sides. Glue sides and PVC together using foamboard adhesive. Weight the top while curing.
By the way, cut the PVC to be a 1/2 inch longer then the base of the foam. You will be setting your tombstone on a bottom base of wood so this will allow the PVC to go through that.
