What are you doing for invites? I am leaning towards "wanted" posters, delivered by Pony Express. Not using one of our real ponies though, that would be a real pain to have to drag him from house to house. Also could use some ideas for the adults swag bag, so far all I can think of is decks of cards, soaps and candles. Thanks.

Hi Suzeelili, nice to talk to someone doing the same theme. I have pictures posted on the forum of a cactus I made from a pool noodle. The front of the house will have the "mexican asleep at the cactus" scene with scene setter backdrop, cactus, scorpions, snakes, rocks, cow skulls, etc; inside the house is the billiards/saloon (calling it the Gem Saloon); we're doing a horse drawn hearse (open buckboard style with a coffin), a couple of different set ups for where people are hung; I've already made my Boot Hill sign for the cemetary - don't forget to do a tombstone for Lester Moore! I've got the movie "Tombstone" permanently recorded on my Tivo so I use it as a reference. Myself and 3 other family members are going to be saloon girls. Yes, same theme this year but my heart just isn't in it. I really wanted to change things around but after I spent so much last year it just made sense to continue one more year with some new additions.

I can't wait to see your pics this year and you'll have to post some as you finish building things. There is someone name wyatt Fir (?) that does a real cool western haunt theme, have you seen his pics?
I want to do a classics year too but no bates for me, I really don't think I'll ever do gore, It's just not in me.

Camping this year, good question, as it stands now I don't even know where if at all that I will set up. Went back to work and don't know if I'll be eligible for vacation or not by then. Just may have to get real sick!!!!!

It was so hot last weekend I didn't even start on my newest prop that I planned on finishing last weekend. I so hope it's cooler this weekend, I need to get things finished so I can start crossing things off my list!!!
