Nice work and yea crows would be a tough one and better to buy, thats what I've done.
  5. Thanks! Believe me, it's more than a little stressful cutting tiny stuff like that on the hotwire. But, it is possible

Take a look on pg.4 of the same thread, and you'll see how I used those letters
  6. You're welcome Let me know when you start to buy the parts, I really recommend getting the 70w electronic transformer. I'll pass you a link to the particular one at Amazon I used, which will allow you to cut much thicker foam faster. I'd suggest at least 12-13" of throat height, and a minimum of that in throat depth. It makes the complicated task of cutting large shapes eeeeasy, and the best part is, you can also precisely cut exquisitely fine detail with the same tool.

    Hi there ssflipo13!!
Just wanted to say thank you for your comments you left on my profile. It's been a while and I was unaware that you dropped by. I am going to post your drawing on my website in the next few days and I wanted to know your name and where you are from so I can add it under your picture with the link. I do not have to use your last name if you do not want to. You can either message me me here or better yet email me here: jpelico@sbcglobal.net. Your drawing skills are very good. The piece you did of mine is beautiful!! I am proud to show it off too. Keep practicing and experiment with different mediums and you will find a look and style of your own. Being good is in the eyes of the beholder!! You will always be more critical of your own work, which is ok, since it makes you always want to be better.
Be well, talk to you soon, John
