I'm glad you found the tutorial informative. Yes, you can do tons of cool stuff with latex and TP! Nice going! Your skelly and tombstone are awesome. You will never look at items the same once you realize things intended for use one way, can be used as a mold to make lots of other cool stuff! Happy Haunting.

We all ate the candy that night! It was yummy! Each of the three older kids claimed a glow in the dark spider! And I hung the rest around in and outside! My favorite piece the JOL. I just love his face! I also got a strand of purple lights, a cute card I hung up with my Halloween card exchange cards, and a cute ghostie! I'll get his pics later with the spider on my door. I swear I took more pics but I can't find them.

My mother was in visiting from Ohio and we loved watching my kids open it My two yr old claimed the purple spider, but I got it back later it's on my front door now! I'll take a pic of it there later. Here is the pic I tried to get while she played with it

These were all sculpted, molded, cast, and painted by myself. Thick rubber, and high quality paintwork make for a rare find. Buy direct from an artist this year! Nothing above $65..prices vary. I do accept paint requests but do not sell unpainted masks. Please let me know if something catches your eye! I'm honest and negotiable! Happy Halloween!

Dusted off the mains this year and it's the Pirates turn to run the house aground. Going big this year with kids before 9pm, then it's all adults. Going to turn the garage into the "Booty Saloon" and keep the path to the house for the kids. Building a "plank" for the adults to walk to enter the saloon. Will post photos next. I had to consult the 2011 historical documents to remember what I did. Enjoy the album!

chef replied to a thread Electronic/Software: Really lost on projectors - please help in Halloween Props
Any decent projector with 720p or better works great for Halloween projections. I looked for used 'office' or 'classroom' projectors, 'movie' projectors tend to cost more for true HD (never needed HD for halloween, 720p is pretty darn close to a TOT). Lumens depends on ambient light, but 2000 is a good number. Mine was a used Epson with the warning light ON for "replace bulb", but for 3 years now I've used it every Halloween. I've projected my "Madame Leota" and various Pirate movies in...

Great cannon build! One quick question on the air reservoir, what's are the specific materials? I've simply run a PVC pipe from the fog machine sync'd to the sound organ, hot wired the lead from the fog machine ON trigger to a red light bulb. Not much BANG but did the trick last year. I'm looking at an upgrade and like your rig.

    Hey Keith,
Wish I could help, but I've never used the SSC-32 board. A good source might be Dr. Morbius - he's been using the SSC-32 to run his 3-axis skulls and may be able to advise. Good luck!
  6. love your comment- 'My brain is starting to hurt (at least what I have left, the 70's were hard on me'

Nice... I've been playing for 6 yrs, and the red will look twice as weak as the red, but still plenty visible... if i had to choose between the two i would choose green, but the red diodes are cheaper, and i had one laying around.
  8. That's ok, mine is only a straight six so they are like cousins. LOL. I would be glad to call you friend.
  9. you're a southerner and Mustang owner!! YAY! Me, too! Okay, mine's an '05 and a V-6, but it counts!! LOL
  10. thank you for the compliments on my screen door!
