  1. slicerd, I was reading an old post of yours to halloweenjared and you were asking about hooking up leds to a controller. I am hooking Leds up to an ssc32 board (using the relay setting in VSA) and taking the signal pin through a 100 ohm resistor into the base of a small transistor. the emitter is connected to ground and the collector goes to the negative side of the led, the pos side goes through a resistor that is connected to +12Vdc. when VSA turns on the relay the signal pin from the ssc32 goes high (5vdc) and turns on the transistor which allows the CE juntion to conduct and turn on the LED.
