I need coffee......or to have my head examined!
by Scruffywolf on 10-30-2008 at 11:49 PM
Ok, here we are, OCT 31st, 3:44am and i'm up. I actually woke up at 3:14am and climbed out of bed with my better half asking "are you ok honey?"
I worked on my props last night until sometime around 10pm, then we sat together and watched some horror flicks on TV and were in bed sometime around midnight.
Last night i stood in my garage and surveyed my handiwork and went over a mental checklist. Am i overwhelmed? Did i try to put together too much? I mean,
Halloween doth approach

My god! again with the time thing. I'm afraid that i have spread myself thin again as the time draws near. I have begun another coffin out of wood i gathered from various places (skid wood etc) and i have still to totally finish my Bucky Jr. in a cage (see Blog and Photos). My better half and i have been going crazy buying small items to fill the gaps (spider webs etc.) and i want to start taking more pics and posting them here but i haven't had the chance yet what with work, family and everything
Never enough time.......

Wow! October 6th already! I am getting somewhere but just where, i'm not sure. I have almost finished my Bucky Jr. in a cage and have added green L.E.D. eyes and "webbed" his cage as well.http://www.halloweenforum.com/album....pictureid=5775 Bucky Jr. has turned out to be a sort of "tutorial-as-you-go". I have done some work to Bucky Sr. as well, aging him and adding a micro switch for his L.E.D. eyes and i have "webbed" him as wellhttp://www.halloweenforum.com/album....pictureid=5776.
Bucky in a Cage, Rage Part 3
by Scruffywolf on 09-22-2008 at 02:44 PM
OK.....I GOT MY 33 1/2" BUCKY TODAY!!!!!! Sound like a little kid don't i? Well, finally, now i can start my Bucky in a Cage project. I needed the Bucky in hand so i could estimate cuts and bends in the metal work. I was out in the Garage for most of the day today.....bothered by a few neighbors stopping by to say "whatcha doin'" then back to work. Had some lunch then back at it again then off again for a Dentist appointment......NEVER ENOUGH HOURS IN THE DAY!!!! Ok then, so be it...i

Ok, so i have the metal i need, screws, bolts, nuts........BUT NO FREAKIN' BUCKY!!!!!ARGH!!! It was ordered from ebay two weeks ago and still nothing. This project requires a 33 1/2" Bucky so that i can measure the bends and joints against the skeleton, no Bucky, no project. There is nothing worse to me than having to sit here idle while awaiting something in the mail. Yes, i know, why don't i work on something else while i wait? I have already gone through my other props and have seen to that.
