What a great build! Totally unique as far as cemetery columns and all the little details really add up nicely. Looking forward to seeing it all assembled and displayed on the big night.

I have finished a major part of my coat design. Pictures of that are below. I'm hoping to get the rest of the embroidery done by Tuesday. After that it's on to designing the corset, and trying to remember how to make tights, and then figuring out shoes. The wig looks great, although definitely not the color that showed up in the listing. (Seemed to be a common problem in the comments.) It started getting messy as soon as I took it out of the bag, so no full costume pictures until I've found my...

Large sound activated rocking bat with led highlights. Have seen these for years and always kind of liked them but always passed. This year it will fit our theme perfectly. These are actually pretty cool!

I've just caught up with what you're doing. WOW! I love the style you've got going, and I am super tickled by the rocket penguins! I can't remember if you are doing any Riddler stuff, but just in case, I wanted to pass on these chocolate question mark lollipop molds I just found. http://www.amazon.com/Cybrtrayd-L051-Letters-Chocolate-Question/dp/B00FYNXGOA?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=od_aui_detailpages00 the company that makes them has tons of other designs, so maybe they'll have...

i had a rest day today, and had the chance to work on my coat for most of the day! One of my cats, Gremlin, 'helped' me for most of it. (Picture should be below in the attachments. I'm having some trouble editing it.) It's almost done! I had originally planned to completely cover it with knotwork, but after getting some advice, decided to decorate the back more, and leave a simpler trim on the front. also spent the day watching Halloween documentaries. That's definitely helping improve...

I went to their site and saw that it's mixed with water. Can you color it? How did you apply it. I'm interested in trying this as I've only used DryLok in the past. Thanks.

Great job, I really like the aging you did on both of those stones. Dry-loc has been recommended many times on this forum in the past, so I'm happy to hear it's given you the results you were looking for.

Wondering what everyone's "philosophy" is on Halloween purchases. Do you pretty much keep everything you buy/make and just amass a huge collection of stuff? Do you periodically thin things out and sell what you don't want or no longer use? Do you buy things with the thought of resale in the back of your mind? As we've changed themes over the past few years, we have bought or made things to go with the particular theme. Things like masks, costumes and props that aren't going to be used again are...

All the plants we tried growing from seed died, except for the corn & three sunflowers. Seems like there was just too little sun. So now we've got starts we planted that are doing very well. i just hope I get more than one puny ear of corn per stalk. Even one healthy ear per stalk would be fine. I'm considering starting more corn, and giving flowers another chance now that it's warmer. Will maybe try that today.

This is a great addition to your zombie hoarde! Very well thought out and executed. I enjoyed seeing how you solved/overcame the problems that popped up. This is the kind of prop you'd see come out of Unit 70 Studios. Really nice. How do you like the hands from TS?

I saw in one of your posts you're a husker fan. Are you from Nebraska originally? I'm in south central NE near Kearney.

Hi...Glad you liked my little wall. There's no tutorial but there are some pictures in my props and mask album. Basically I adhered the blucky parts and additional items with some foam/plastic adhesive to some styrofoam (plywood would work too. I then filled gaps the with great stuff and spray painted when the foam was dry. The back and sides are painted with latex because I didn't have enough parts to finish. Since it's at the entrance to my underworld I've toyed with the idea of painting an image of a demon hand coming out from below.

I've read about your pneumatics..but I wasn't able to find any images or video whern I checked your 2012 album. I am really considering doing the Casafear groundbreaker this year. I have a picoboo and compressor, so I've only got a few items left to go. Did you use 2" or 3" stroke cylinders? What bore size?

About that political thread, for what it's worth, I don't think you had anything to apologize for. Didn't do anything wrong. But what do I know?

No, I didn't think I could do a better job then Tara. It's basicly the same thing as her hell hound just a diffrent shape.

    Again, sorry for the delay.
