They look like a small class from a school or possibly a day care center. Our house is down the street from a large elementary school and dozens of kids walk by every day. My wife's cousin is a kindergarden teachr at said school and brings her class by my house once a year to see the decorations. We've had kids stop in the morning or on the way home and ask us if we'll be doing the "scary house" again this year. It's heart warming! lol!

Everyone has a preference with lighting. Size of the yard, number of props. Multiple colors to be used. Put them out, light up a certain area and just make adjustments as you go.

If the vacuum has a detachable bag in back, where you must remove the throw a way bag, like the Dirt Devil, then that is the blower part of the machine. I got lucky and just happen to have the proper opening that the throw a way bag connected to, that the hose for the web gun, could fit in.right side of the machine. When they talk about the shop vacs, there must be a blower output that the hose for the gun can connect to.do you have a shop vac and if so can you take a picture of it ?

The webcaster gun can be used with a vacuum cleaner. Mine is a small Dirt Devil, imagine that. You don't need an air compressor ! That is why I check out all angles on this. It's very easy to set up.

Seems a lot of Halloween related things are going on. A LOT of commercial haunts had opening nights this past weekend. Starting to see home Halloween decorations popping up. Ironically the retail side is already winding down with Halloween being marked down or condensed to make room for Christmas stuff at some stores. These next 5 weeks will pass quickly but it's the best time of the year!

So a little test of my new web-gun got this in less than 5 minutes. Not bad I had to prep the gun with some adapting. I had to use tape to tightly seal the hose and the vacuum. I don't think there will be any perfect match on these. I also kept the plug extension neat by tying them together so they didn't hang everywhere.

You'll get varying opinions and ultimately you settle on a look you find appealing. Here's mine. We use amber and blue almost exclusively. Rather than shine a light on a particular stone, we position them so they hit a few stones and give a wash of color. We've adopted a "less is more" outlook with regards to cemetery lighting, paring back from 4-5 floodlights to 2 or 3 led spots. We like shadows and dark areas forcing people to look closer and use their imagination, rather than having...

They do look good. Go with what Frankie's Girl said, a light dusting with gray at the high points and maybe a little darker black around the edges to give them depth. I'd fill in the areas between each stone a little more so they truly look like stacked stones, but MatrixMom had a great idea by getting some fake bones to stick in between them. I thought also as an aging process, some dark green at the bottom of the 'rocks' like there is mold or moss growing on the underside of them.

I will leave juice in them during the year as cheap as these 400w units are. I will, however run cleaner through them after Halloween and then pour a little juice back in.

Hi...Glad you liked my little wall. There's no tutorial but there are some pictures in my props and mask album. Basically I adhered the blucky parts and additional items with some foam/plastic adhesive to some styrofoam (plywood would work too. I then filled gaps the with great stuff and spray painted when the foam was dry. The back and sides are painted with latex because I didn't have enough parts to finish. Since it's at the entrance to my underworld I've toyed with the idea of painting an image of a demon hand coming out from below.

I've read about your pneumatics..but I wasn't able to find any images or video whern I checked your 2012 album. I am really considering doing the Casafear groundbreaker this year. I have a picoboo and compressor, so I've only got a few items left to go. Did you use 2" or 3" stroke cylinders? What bore size?

About that political thread, for what it's worth, I don't think you had anything to apologize for. Didn't do anything wrong. But what do I know?

No, I didn't think I could do a better job then Tara. It's basicly the same thing as her hell hound just a diffrent shape.

    Again, sorry for the delay.
