I have no yet met any fun Halloween groups here. I'm only been in Iowa since 07' and only started building a haunt 3 years ago. Yes I've only had 13 so far but I'm not at all "blue" about it, great things come in time. Plus I'm far to optimistic. I've got some serious plans for this year 2013 and I'm also considering advertising, free admission of course. I'm just taking baby steps to get my name and Haunt name "Northwestern Hollow" out there. Nice to meet you and great hearing from you!

What are the odds that you lived in Maine? Haha! So few people live there that I'm super excited whenever I find someone else who really enjoyed living in or visiting the state. I'm glad I was able to send you a little piece of Maine. If we get re-matched for another program I'll have to send something a little more "Maine-y" like whoopie pies or lobster!

You should check your local dollar tree, if they have them in your area. That's where I found mine. If not there, Michael's Crafts has them in their floral section.

I used acrylic paints on mine and sealed them with a semi gloss coat.
