Cabin Fever 2002 Five college friends on vacation in a remote cabin in the woods of Alabama are threatened by a flesh-eating virus. Not among my favorites.

We're so far behind, it won't affect us decorating. It might push building back a bit, though.

The Blob 1958 I posted the 1988 version on 7/5/16. About the same summary for 1958 as 1988 except that the Blob in this movie was red instead of pink. I like them both, but 1958 is my favorite of the two.

I also just watched The Conjuring 2 Lorraine and Ed Warren battle another demon, this time in London at the home of an abandoned mother and her four children. In this one, the youngest daughter appears to be possessed instead of the mother. I thought The Conjuring was a little better, but I also liked 2. I particularly liked the house with it's cracked walls and shabby and dingy appearance that the mother was apparently not able to keep up.

Hard to decide so I picked the first five that came to mind that I liked. Insomnia Pet Sematary 'Salem's Lot Cujo Christine Insomnia is rather long, so if you don't like long books, you might not care for it. I didn't include Carrie because you are already reading it.

Ugly Joe replied to a thread Atmosphere Effects: How can I make fake dust? in Halloween Props
Ive had decent luck with creating a dusty, old, glass effect using hairspray and talcum powder. Spray the glass with the hairspray, and immediately blow on a handful of powder towards the glass - distance helps, so the powder diffuses more before it hits the hairspray. It stays quite well, until it gets decently wet, at which point it will begin to wash away (temporary, but still pretty durable until washed).

Anyone here use the app UnTapp'd? It's kind of like Facebook for beer enthusiasts.

You can also do single 6-packs at Total Wine, if you have one near you. It's my go-to place for beer.

I had Night Owl last year. It was good, as were the other Elysian pumpkin beers, Dark o the Moon & Punkuccino.

I too have a townhouse and my number 1 recommendation without a doubt is to befriend your neighbor immediately and feel him/her out in regards to their thoughts on the Halloween season. If you are lucky enough like I have been they will allow you to encroach on their property allowing for a larger scale display.

Homicidal An attractive woman pays a man to marry her. They go to a JP late at night. Immediately after the wedding, she brutally and graphically murders the JP with a surgical knife. What follows is a story of an inheritance involving deception and murder. One of my favorite William Castle thrillers and a ripoff of Hitchcock's Psycho which was released about a year earlier. Although I think Psycho is better, I also like Homicidal.

If you're new to heating and bending plastics, I'll pass along this tidbit: heating plastic is like pushing a heavy wagon over a hill. Lots of work with little progress, then all of a sudden it's out of control. You'll heat your plastic, it won't seem to be doing anything, and then it will suddenly seem soft...and right after that, it begins melting. When your piece begins to have a touch of flex to it, stop heating it. It will likely soften a bit more on it's own, and the extra heat may...

I got my first pumpkin beers this year. Buffalo Bill's Black Pumpkin (their regular pumpkin ale is one of my favorites of the genre). And I can't remember the other two. I think one was Coronado's Punkin Drublic. I'll update this post when I get home. I'll take your word for it. I've tried it two different years because of the hype & was disappointed both times. My wife got the Ace Pumpkin Cider when we were out last week. We both dug it as an alternative to the plethora of...

With seeming to be down and out I am trying to track down some LED spot/floods equal to their selection. I am curious if anyone has tried the bulb listed below.

Highschool Hellcats (1958) Joyce is a nice girl who has just moved into town with her parents. After her first day in her new high school, she is pressured into joining an all-girl gang, becoming involved in illegal activities. A so-so low-budget movie, but I like to watch it once in a while, because I enjoyed it as a kid.

I just started putting a few autumn things out. :) It's still nearly 100F here so that's incongruous but I can never quite hold out. So I put some mildly fall-like things out at the end of August or thereabouts, and then I go full-throttle Halloween a bit later on.
