I downloaded the full picture set and I'm saving it for later, lots of good ideas in there, I already made some pillars but I see some add on/upgrades I can do using some of your ideas....

One of several King books I would like to read. I think I've read about half of them.

The Fall of the House of Usher (1960). Based on a work by Poe who I was a fan of when I was a kid. I saw this years ago, but I just noticed in the credits that the screenplay was written by another great writer, Richard Matheson (I Am Legend 1954).

Even though horror movies don't scare me anymore, I still enjoy them. That's why I am able to enjoy a horror movie from the fifties as much as post 2000. I like House of Wax (1953) and I also like The Conjuring (2013). I watch movies for fun. I am scared by real life things like lawyers and the IRS. Sorry if I offend anyone.

I'm not scared by movies anymore, but if I had to pick I would agree with the others who mentioned the kid floating outside the window in Salem's Lot.

Thinner, based on the novel by Stephen King published under the pseudonym, Richard Bachman. This is one of the few movies based on a Stephen King novel I haven't read. I hope to check it out sometime.

Morgan could eventually end up being a casualty like his teacher, Eastman, due to his refusal to kill even the most evil of people. I hope not though.

I feel like The Wizard of Oz used to play on Thanksgiving, but am I remembering that correctly? I LOVE Thanksgiving. My son is gluten-free and we're not eating at our house (we're going to the in-laws') so I'll be bringing some GF treats for him. I mean obviously the turkey, green beans and so on are GF but I'm also bringing a pumpkin pie, an apple pie with apple "leaves" (pastry cutouts) on top, cornbread, and leaf-shaped cookies with autumn color sprinkles. :)

That skull pen is great! When I do special toys or a special candy theme I can't find in stores (for instance, vintage candy), I order ahead. Last year I just handed out full-size candy bars so, no ordering required. But for example the year I did pirate treasure chests I ordered the plastic chests, necklaces, and spyglasses from Oriental Trading. I may do a more involved "treat bag" (or box!) theme again this year. We'll see, though!

Start keeping a dream journal - it will help you remember dreams better, and then you'll start remembering some GREAT stuff. My favorite oddball image is where I was being plagued by the flying head of Gary Busey - it wasn't talking or biting or anything like that, it was just Gary Busey's head, flying around, and flashing THOSE TEETH. Really weird. Oh, and I've had some great ideas for haunts, some of which I've used.

There's no evading the fact that consumer grade tech is now on par with (and likely exceeds) the tech that was solely in the realm of the entertainment industry just a few years ago. Tiny projectors suited for solo item animations, video editing and animation software, audio editing, and hardware that can interact with digital data (trigger routines as well as be triggered by them) are all items that have become affordable to many of us, and have become simple enough to use that it no longer...

I don't want to start a personal conversation in a forum thread, so I decided to send a message. I am also a fan of Young Frankenstein which spoofed at least three Universal Frankenstein movies. I think one of the funniest scenes in this one is also with him and the old man. The scene didn't end as tragically in this movie, with the old man's house burning down. Instead, the monster runs away after having his cup broken by a clumsy toast, his thumb set on fire, and being scalded by hot...

I've used 4" drainage pipe for my inlet, and the outlet is a 2 foot long exit slot along the "front" edge, so I can have the fog spread out as it leaves the chiller. Then again, the effect I'm looking for is to have the fog ooze out from below my alter prop. Which it does well. Here's a pic of inside of my chiller (I don't have any others, I'm afraid).

I love the line from Frankenstein's monster near the end of Bride of Frankenstein, "We belong dead." I'm glad he learned to talk so we could hear him say that. I just watched Two on a Guillotine.

The Revenge of Frankenstein is one of my favorite Hammer films. It's hard to explain why. The "monster" isn't ugly or really scary, but I enjoy it. Tonight I watched Creature from the Black Lagoon. Along with Frankenstein's monster, Dracula and the wolf man, I think the "gill man" is one of the Universal horror icons. Two actors played the gill man. One on land and another underwater, a diver who had to hold his breath for up to four minutes.
