I went to Salem one year, and it rained the whole time. But I still had a blast!!

We're hoping to go to Salem this October....wife went a few years ago, and we've been trying to come up with the $$ ever since....

The only thing they have close to here is a Six Flags amusement park, so every weekend in the month of October, they have what they call "fright fest". Not sure what it's all about, but I am gonna check it out this year. I have been to New Orleans for Halloween once, and I want to go again soon.

One of the things I've hated about living here is the lack of Halloween themed activities.....Oswego has "Screamer's Hollow", on the grounds of the Renaissance Faire, and there supposedly is a haunt in one of the small towns south of me. Syracuse has more than we do - and you would be about 175 miles from Syracuse.....

I have a friend in Liverpool (just outside of Syracuse) who runs a home based haunt...simply excellent. She even came across an old hearse and had it customized...I have a pix here of it someplace.....

I'm in Plattsburgh. I've been to Watertown a few times.
