Had a little more luck searching today! The theatre looks pretty cool, it would definately be worth sneaking into Awesome pics, looks like a lot of fun on Halloween!!
Old Elitch Gardens opened in 1890 and moved downtown in 1994. OK not ruin but very old. Fenced off, boarded up, and overgrown made it a creepy place. Some buildings still stand mixed with townhomes. That old haunted ride had many first for me, Vortex tunnel, animatronics, and blacklite scenes. It was great and still inspires me after all this time. I use blacklites in the Hollowvan, dark walls, white spider webs, and blacklite makes the room seem much larger. Check it out in my album.

Hello, and happy haunting. Your Chippewa Park pics are great! I live in Denver and watched the old Elich gardens fall into ruin, and then become townhomes. So sad. I rode the haunted house ride a thousand times. The new Elitch gardens dosent have one. They now do walk thrus during the season. One is called Brutel Planet.
