If I'm ever out there I'll definitely check out Chilliwack BC! We live in a very small village. and are considered hicks to city folks! When we lived in western North Carolina,it was up on top a of a mountain with no neighbors and a 3/4 mile drive down to the paved road! then we moved to the city (village)lol
Hey RBW, ya the Island is beautiful, although I could never live there, it's wonderful to visit. I live in a small city aprox a 1 hour drive east of Downtown Vancouver. To Vancouverites, we're still considered to be living in the sticks with many of them never having been over any of their bridges to venture out our way, lol. We use to be a small country bumpkin town, but not any longer, we've been in a masive population boom for the past 10 years, it's sad in many ways, with a few advantages, but I'd have to say the disadvantages have been greater. If you're ever over the border west coast you should check us out "Chilliwack BC".
Thanks for the kind welcome. Look forward to knowing you as well! I see you are in BC. Went to Victoria, BC and fell in love with the place! Along with the whole area! Vancouver was a little crowded but still a nice place.
