Arrrggghhh fellow Pirate!

It wasn't terribly complicated. I took thick paper towels, brawny i think, and tore the straight edges off. I pulled the 2 ply apart and died the pieces with a mix of brown and black paint and water. I squeezed the water out and let them dry crumpled. I used eye lash glue to glue pieces to my face. Then I painted them over with a mix of facial mask clay (in the face wash isle) with dark brown foundation. It dries all crusty looking :-) wish I had a better shot of the teeth from dentaldistortions.com because it totally made the look complete. but I don't think they even carry that style/name anymore. gnarl maybe?

Maybe I can just split it in half-nice in front of the infant-not so nice later...Hmmm we shall see..Thank you for the congrats btw..

Well you know normally by the time Halloween ends I usually have my plan for next year, but, now this is a BIG but, by next Halloween we will be parents for the first time, the baby is due in June so that means I will have a 4 month old infant....With that said, I have NO idea what we will be able to pull off next Halloween. Will keep you posted though.
I totally hear you about the expense, when you wanna do things so perfect and authentic it can get soooo pricey, sometimes you need to do an inexpensive year. Its funny, so many people I talk to on here, really had to down grade their normal Halloween celebrations, Im so sure due to the current economic climate.

Not sure if I do know but if you're asking about my avatar, that's just a picture I found on the net. My other hobby is racing Ironman Triathlons so it seemed appropriate.
