Ok, I gave it a quick test run, and I think it's really a pretty cool effect. A little messy and the hubby was grossed out, but I think it'll work out great. Thanks again for your help! Ofcourse I will post pics Halloween night.

Hallow pd! WOW!! had to hop over and say thanks for checking out our hearse project. SO glad I did cause your prop pics are unbelievable!! Just fantastic!! A hearse is one thing - but making creatures that send chills up the spines of the even the most hardened trick-or-treaters is true talent! BRAVO!! and... BOO!
Love your pumpkins! I also sculpt pumpkins... for the past 4 years, at least. It's very difficult and adds style to carving. I'm curious-- what tools do you use to sculpt yours? I've tried all sorts of different things, but I like using wood gouges the best because they can remove large chunks of pumpkin flesh for those deep areas.
