Hi guys, have u thought on attending the Canadian Haunters Convention in Hamilton this April 13-15, it's a Fri-Sun? We've booked our hotel and now going for tickets. I know BooBaby is seriously considering, but haven't heard back yet if she's booked to go. Would be great to meet folks we've been chatting with at a place that caters to our love of things halloween!

Check Kijiji.ca by city and province and usedottawa.com.(your city or close to you). I scored 7 times in the last 2 year, 3 times, free stuff! I spend less than 200$, and easily got 2000$ worth of stuff. Also, I score big after halloween, got many props at 75% off or better at Shoppers Drug Mart. Don't be shy asking the manager and making deals with him. I got the witch and butler, for 25$ each. Also, Zellers was the same, talk the manager too. Ottawa weather suck big time too. I am planning to use the deck too this year. I am thinking of getting the webgun too, but with the weather, I don't think it would work. I went to FanExpo 2 years ago, might go this year too, depend on the money situation (big Rue Morgue fan). We are going to Kingston in a few weeks for a weekend. (we do this every few months, we love Kingston). Maybe we can meet if you want too. I met a few people from here already (Doto and me are best friends now, also, I meet someone from Cornwall, came to visit me).
Good evening! Your props are tops! Obviously you go for the animated ones. Those are out of my $$ range. I go for the Walmart, $ store or make 'em. I have splurged an purchased 'Possessed Girl' from HAUNTEDPROPS.COM and when SPIRITHALLOWEEN.COM comes to Kingston we check items there. The biggest purchase last year was the Webcaster Gun. Love it!! But unfortunately last year was super windy and chilly. The webbing blew away that was on our deck, but the effects inside was wonderful. Do you have one? Where do you mostly get your props? I've been told to check Ebay, but haven't yet. How hard core to you decorate? Full yard, deck, walk thru your house? We have had tot's come thru our house for the last two years and the previous 3 we did our deck which goes from the side to the back of our house. One year we did a haunted garden. I have a garden at the side of our house and the kids came thru there. It was probably our second year at the house. The response the next day was pleasing to hear, that we were the creepiest. And from then one, we slowly got bigger. Do you also go to conventions? Such as Fan Expo in Toronto? thededmatter aka Cherilyn
