  1. Thank you. I plan on having a good birthday.
  2. BTW... Hope you have a great BIRTHDAY tomorrow!
  3. Greetings Bam! Thanks for stopping by! So far, the new year has been good, I am glad the Holiday's are over,,, they have been very busy! I plan to start working on the gates toward spring when the weather is warmer and the days are longer. I hope yours is going well.
  4. Nightmare,

Hope you are having a good new year. Are you working on your iron gates yet? I’m getting ready to start a new big project. I’m going to start building wall panels. I’m fearful the project may be bigger than it may first seem, but I’ll give it a go.

    Anyway have a great 2012!
  5. Thank you! I am glad you liked it! I always appreciate others feedback! I love the look of blue and green lighting in a graveyard, it gives an ethereal feel the is both natural and supernatural all the same. I was very pleased with it and will only make minor changes next year. The Urn was from Spirit, I thought it would be a great addition to the graveyard this year, so I build a stand for it and placed it at the entrance, in the trail path so patrons will come into direct contact with it.

I called your work "Pro" because you put a lot of work and detail in what your doing, in my book, that is pro. I always appreciate the work people do, no matter the budget or skill, to each, they should be proud of their work.

Yes, the display is guided by a path, but tour on their own. I use twine and wood stakes to section off the path. I do have a large size yard, which allows me to add or change and make a large haunt. I keep areas dark in between scenes as well. As for storage, I have 2 buildings, 1 12'X10' and 1 14'X10' that are both completely full.
  6. I hope you’re happy with the display because I think it is awesome! The lighting is great (I have to say that because you used the same color scheme I used on the tombstones). The urn or pot with the ghost image on it is very clever and a great way to start. I kept saying to myself “man he must have a heck of a storage unit.
I’m not sure why you called my work “Pro” earlier this year when obviously your display blows mine away. You must have invested a great deal of time into the haunt.
    So a few questions:
    • Is your display guided or do the guests tour on their own? If they are on their own is there a path they follow or do they randomly visit each scene?
    • You must have some acreage. Your display covers quite an area and it looks like you have room to grow which is nice not having to be limited.
  7. I am thinking of using Iron Gates and grey brick stone for the design. As for storage, I will have to build them so they can be broken down. Thanks for stopping by! here is a video from this past years haunt:

Let me know what you think!
  8. Do you have any designs that you are leaning towards with your cemetery entrance? I suppose there are many options:
 Skulls, crosses or other symbols
     Iron gates
     Moss or vines
 New or old and cracked
     Built in lighting
 Can it be easily stored
     Verbiage or not
I will be curious what you come up with.

My pillars are nice, but I would have liked to have added some more cracks. I suppose I could add them at any time. I also could have installed a wall light on the side. Again I guess I still could.

    Anyway I’m just checking in.
  9. Leaning toward one with an Arch... We'll see how everything goes once the Pillars are started.
  10. Good luck with the cemetery entrance. I had a good time building mine. Will it have an arch over the top or will it be two pillars?
