What it does is make a light pulsate thanks to any sound you may play nearby (It's intended for thunder sounds, imitating lightning). I'm using it as a possessed lamp, however. You plug in the light in the back, and set the sensitivity knob to your liking (Just play around with that and the volume). Place near a sound source (There is an audio plug in the back as well) and watch the lights go. Note you can only use this with lamps and floodlights, no flourescent blacklights or strobes.
Mrhamilton I have the same lighting box you posted under yardsales. What can it all do? I got it in a lot of Halloween Goodies on Craigslist this year and havent played with it yet.
