It's Halloween mixed with fall & Christmas, but they've got some stuff up. Got these:

Yeah, no fun with just 2 of us. If we have to cancel we have to cancel, I'll be fine. Maybe it's just too close to the holidays for this one? Maybe the weather isn't cooperating either. This is a slow time on the board in general so that doesn't help either.

Wonderful! This is why this is the literally best forum I have been to. It has stood the test of time for me for twelve years. I mean that. There is no better message board to go to then this one when searching for data. The folks here are always so pleasant and helpful. Thank you so much!

I agree, it's very impressive which means it's probably ridiculously expensive. It seems as though they're repeating the same movements, rocking back & forth or left to right, in a lot of props. They always have a great look to them though.

The mummy looks great & I agree on the witch, it would make a great mask or static prop but as a moving prop that doesn't have ANY mouth movement to go with the soundtrack it's not worth the money. Also Whiz Kid?Really? Though I guess every year they have one that puts it toe across the line. I've also never been fond of the vomiting props no matter who manufacturers are.

As soon as I saw it I knew I'd seen it over at Goblinhaus' site. It's been sold but the pic was still up on the site. He sold the complete costume for $14.99. Both Ben Cooper & Collegeville made knockoffs of licensed characters, a lot still do, so if they couldn't get the license to do an official character they'd do "Spider Guy" or "Bat Guy" or something equally ridiculous.

That is Lazar Man. I'm sure he's suppose to be a knockoff of some other superhero.

OK, so far I'm first & only right now so here ya go: Surprise me! Don't care if it's Valentines, Christmas, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Halloween, Hannukah, just whatever. If you want specific, I do like vintagey things in general & not just for holiday decor, so anything from a vintage spice tin from McCormick (or even a new one) to vintage repro for any holiday, good smelling candles are always welcome, a local store's reusable shopping bag (in my county in MD we get charged 5 cents a...

He really is pretty cool & I fully didn't expect him to be so big. He really is "life sized."

It looks so much better than those pictures. He's pretty realistically sized too. We have a king sized bed & he took up half of it when I had him at the top of the bed.

I got my Creature From the Black Lagoon Gravewalker for Christmas!! The thing is HUGE! It's made of foam but it's heavier than you'd think. The arms detach but you can't tell once it's all together. It's got great detail too. The eyes are plastic but pretty realistic looking. One claw has a flat back since I guess it's supposed to go on a wall. Mine will go over our pond, I just need to figureout how. The ONLY thing I found wrong with it is there's a bit of overpaint of pink from the...

Well, I'm not sure how a show called Sleepy Hollow is still called Sleepy Hollow when it's set in DC. I guess we're just supposed to be happy that they kept Ichabod & Abbie's sister (I can't remember her name right now) as holdovers. I'm also pretty sure they barely filmed any of it in DC. Unless this season is fan-effing-tastic, I predict this is it for this show. I almost wish it had ended 2 seasons ago.

Mods, feel free to move this elsewhere but I wasn't sure where to post it since it's not MY auction nor is it a retailer so move away if you'd like!! As soon as I saw this story in the Washington Post I knew that I had to post it here. Once you see the pics you'll know why!:D The Gettysburg Museum Hall of Presidents is closing & they're selling all their stuff, from George & Martha Washington to Barack & Michelle Obama! They are all up for sale & boy are they all pretty creepy! They're...

Ditto! We got our MBR cellular shades through Next Day Blinds. They weren't cheap but they offer lifetime service so it was worth it for us. We've broken the strings several times in the last couple of years & they've fixed them for free. This time they even gave us a cheapie stick-up replacement blind. It's more for privacy than light blocking but it's only supposed to be used temporarily.
