The Great Gatsby 1974 version I'd just finished reading the book a couple of nights ago (I never had to read it in high school so I thought it was time) so when I finished I thought I'd start with the original movie. I'm watching & we get to the scene when we first meet Myrtle & her husband George. I keep looking at George trying to figure out where I've seen him before & literally a day later in the car today I realized IT'S SCOTT WILSON, HERSHEL FROM WALKING DEAD!! I knew Scott Wilson...

Man Who Shot Liberty Valance Jimmy Stewart, John Wayne, Lee Marvin, all powerhouses in an oldie but goodie directed by John Huston. Simple revenge plot, Liberty Valance being the bad guy played by Lee Marvin (of course) almost kills Stewart, Stewart wants revenge but there's much deeper things going on than just revenge.

Keep up the good work Gobby, you'll get there! Therapy of any kind sucks & hurts like hell sometimes, but you gotta do it & it does work. I remember my last physical therapy stint & when the guy was kneading my shoulder like I was bread dough I thought that if ANYONE ELSE attempted to hurt me like this I'd punch them in the family jewels, but I didn't do that. I just made faces, kept breathing & let him do it & it worked. So keep it up Gobby, we're all rooting for ya!!

We haven't had much of a winter here in my part of MD. I don't think I've seen an inch of snow yet & the temps haven't been wintry either. It was nearly 80 a couple of weeks ago, it was nearly 70 yesterday. Well, temps have plummetted, the wind chill makes it feel below freezing, & the best part....wait for it... A NOREASTER IS EXPECTED NEXT MON. NITE INTO TUESDAY!! It's already meteorological spring, which is March 1, & astrological spring is the 20th, so this year March is the new...

Get Out Maybe I've seen too many horror movies, or movies in general, but I could see what was coming, yet I still enjoyed it. Interesting that Brad Whitford has been in 2 genre busting horror flicks & both were great.

This is the show other shows should watch. I'M TALKING TO YOU WALKING DEAD!! How this one has slipped by so many radars is beyond me. Freddie Highmore & Vera Farmiga are so on point & slaying (literally sometimes) every week.

I liked the characters of the kid, Nick & Strand from FtWD. I'd love to see them meet up with our Scooby Gang but I doubt they will. They could easily have many stories in different stages of this particular apocalypse, but then they take the risk of too many zombie shows & spread themselves too thin. Too much of a good thing isn't always good. Unless it's chocolate. You can never have enough chocolate.:D Or Jason Momoa, Chris Hemsworth, Hugh Jackman & Roger Clyne.

Just got this terra cotta witchy pumpkin at Goodwill! This isn't my pic, I just started googling on some info about it & found this pic & it's the exact same pumpkin. She has a hole in the back to put an electric light in & doesn't have any candle residue so the former owner must have used it as is or with a light that didn't make it to Goodwill. The store that has the pic has it for $32.95 each so my $3.99 buy was a great deal!!

I want them to leave the comics alone & give us new material that isn't part of the comic canon. Because the comics are getting & have been redundant for a while now. But I guess all that particular energy is going to Fear the Walking Dead. I gave up on FtWD, but that was one thing I liked about it, it wasn't held hostage by the comics.
