I'm still here, just being quiet.
Funny you should ask about the coffin soap, I just made a bunch last week. I should have taken pictures of the whole project when I made it last year but I'll try to explain.
I made a coffin out of cardboard (just bottom and sides) then filled it with plaster of paris. Once I had my plaster cast I glued a cross on it. I used silicone mold putty to cover the top and sides of the plaster coffin. You’ll have a silicone soap mold that you can use over and over. Now just get some melt and pour soap to fill your mold with. To make it easier, I’m sure you can find a plastic coffin at the dollar store or oriental trading company and just cover that with the mold putty.
