Hi, mic214, I wanted to tell you that I have a new group. It's about urban legends. I think to get to it, you go through the 'social' tab. Nobody is there yet but me. Look me up and have fun!

Hey, I finally got the chance to explore this site further, and found a friend request. I'll be your friend, but I'm not sure if we have to do anything to maybe make it "official". I don't really know my way around yet and I've been signed up for a few months already. Kinda makes me feel dumb. Like I should know more by now. But anyhow, I'm not sure how long ago you made the friend request, but if it seems like I'm ignoring it, I don't mean to-like I said-I'm still learning about stuff here. That's all for now I guess. Later.

    Meltdown211:

I will definitely be checking out your site for more sound effects! They were great!

    Propmistress:

I am hoping to automate my cannon to shoot out compressed air, smoke and light and throw it on a loop to go off every five minutes or so..... My Brother-in-Law is an electronics engineer, so I am hoping he can come up with something like that for me.

I did check out Michaels for wooden Treasure chests, but they were all out at this time of year. I will be checking back with them in a month or so....I also want to try and figure out how to make the jewels sparkle with small LED lites.....I am thinking on running a string of Xmas lites underneath the jewels and beads....

    Moonchildani (Ani):

I have got to see pics of your set up! It sounds great! We really don't do too much inside the house as far a Piratey decorations go. We threw up some small pirate flag banners and we had a motion activated talking pirates head, but not much other than that. Most of our efforts went into the outside props.

Again, thanks one and all for the kind words!

Also before building a treasure chest, check out Michaels. They sell a full size wooden treasure chest for less than $10 with the 40% off coupon. (My husband is a pirate fanatic and we bought one for the minature golf hole we are building in our backyard)

Mic214, I just read your post about your plans for 2010.
You should look into a confetti cannon. They look like and work like real cannons but you fill them with confetti. When they explode, they shower the TOTs with confetti.
You can even take a cue from the Treasure Island Hotel and have scheduled times that the cannon shoots confetti.
