How'd the camping go?
LOL, Lynn, I surely hear ya about the birthdays! well, my camping this coming week end and then the following is for Halloween, so double the fun, this weekend the weather looks great, keep your fingers crossed for me with the next!! no fun to set up halloween and camp in the rain!!

Happy birthday!! how have you been? haven't chatted in a while, how goes the halloween building? I , per usual, am way behind, I actually have my first campground weekend next week end,,, it is the smaller of the 2 so what I get done I get done,,, but the next one is the following week end and I care more about that one, so want it to be good! well, again, hope you had a great birthday!!
Oh I forgot.... his eyes are kids bounce balls, about 10-12" diameter. In case you wondered.

Thanks Bethene... glad to be around again and glad to hear from you! The tree is carpet tubes, with newsprint twisted and taped on the tubes. Then monster mud and landscape fabric. His face though is the pink foam that I glues together and then carved other than the branches on his head. Those are chicken wire folded into shape, wired onto the head and then covered in the landscape fabric and monstermud.
what did you use to make the tree? very cool! was going to use a shiatsu massager to make branches move around, but thought it would be too hard to make, so came up with something else, but I do love the face of him!
hey, Lynn, good to here from you! not alot going on, weather hasn't been good enough for either yard word or prop building, so just made alot of potion bottles, want to really step up with the witch area. love the tree in the "09 pics, was thinking of doing a scary tree for the haunt forums $20 prop contest, but now decided to make something different, but do love the tree, if the other thing I want is over budget, which it could be, I might end up with a tree, will have to use yours for inspiration,,,, how is everything going with you? hope every one is well.. glad to have you back around!! have a great rest of the weekend!!
