Thanks for asking! I'm just fine where I am. Most of the hurricanes only affect the southern part of the state. I am very close to the Arkansas border, so we only see some winds and mostly rain. Also for the record, I'm not an expert in geography either!

BTW: I have never had problems with rodents, but I used your bounce dryer sheet trick when I put some of my props up this past week. Thanks for sharing that one!

BTW: I am down here in north Louisiana. I believe our weather is rather different than yours, or anyone else's for that matter!

I looked again at your horse and you REALLY did a great job on the anatomy. I'll be lazy and just use flat black spray paint on one of ours. (just kidding!)

Thanks, but they are my wife's babies -- I just buy the hay and support her habit. Are you on Facebook? I can send you her link...lots of horsey stuff there. We have 3 very gentle gypsy vanners (one is pregnant), and a baby perscheran. A biggg baby, and more.

My wifes FB page is: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/p...9672947&ref=mf

You sound just like my wife up till 4 yrs. ago.

That's great that you found a place for Daredevil to rest! Now she can make an appearrance next year too! I didn't know that little trick about the bounce sheets. You don't suppose they keep away spiders and bugs too??? Those are my biggest pests, and I would love to see some snow.... any year! LOL

Well, you're just too kind. I have really enjoyed visiting with you while you made progress on your build. Don't worry about the kids, they can't possibly think anything Mom does is cool. LOL But that horse is one incredible build. Really, pat yourself on the back. Now don't forget to check in every now and then.

Your just too kind. All your talent and abilities got you through that enormous build. All I did was send some encouragement your way. Did you have a great turnout to see Daredevil? How did the report in the paper go? I only wish the town paper would at least take some pics of my stuff, so others might get in the spirit and decorate. Next year I think I'll have to advertise by making some signs or something.

I have yet to take down my display. I just can't make myself remove it from the yard. I think I'm going have separation issues after I take it down. Why can't Halloween come once a month!? LOL

Hopefully, Daredevil will find a final resting place. Maybe you have a friend or relative that has some space. I would hate the thought of departing with my hardwork over storage. All the time, money, and effort is worth looking over all the options.

PS: Don't be a stranger just because Halloween is over. I'll be lurking around the forum all year, so I expect to hear great things from you. Take care!

Can't wait to see some pics with the rider! I bet you could use floral wire to secure the skeleton in place. I use it all the time to pose skeletons and other props that I do not want them to move. The wire is very thin and will not show up next to the black body of the horse. It's just a thought, but it works well for me.

I think I'm about ready for next Halloween too. Our weather forcast calls for more that 14 more inches of rain between tomorrow and Halloween! Hope the ToTs bring their waders, cause it's going to be wet!
