Me again. I really wish Larry would put CHAT back on the forum. Anyway, I am building a second witch head and I'm following your guidance from "The Bride" tutorials. I have built a styro structure and this afternoon I mixed up some celluclay to build up some of the structure. How long do I have to wait for the celluclay to dry before I start working with the paperclay? Should I allow the celluclay to dry completely, or is it better to keep it soft so the paperclay won't crack as it dries?

I just went through and put together your six steps of "The Bride" tutorial into a single PDF. I posted it to my witch sculpt thread, but thought I should let you know, too.

I can't believe how smooth your sculpts are. Do you really get that look just from air dry clay over celluclay?

I just finished my first sculpted witch head and I think it was a good learning exercise, but I used some simple "air dry" clay and it really shrank and cracked as it dried. I'm curious to know what you use on your sculpts? For instance, when you use celluclay (or celluclay II) does it shrink as it dries? Do you have tricks for avoiding cracks?
