well I tell my hubby its this or your on your own for Christmas! That's his holiday lol! We just try to help each other out!
yaaay decorating! sounds exciting I wish it wasnt only me decorating, your lucky to have a spouse whos more than willing I have to bribe mine and even then its minimal stuff he will do. I have to mention doing something dangerous before he will help on his own, hehe
Wow! That's really great! Your mom has some spirit! I wish more people were like that! I haven't even decided what I am going to be this year!! Last night myself and my hubby went over what we were serving for our Halloween party and what" scenes" we were going to do this year. We have so much stuff now that we have to be organized . So we both agreed to get the decorations down in September and start to take out what we are going to use. The rest will be put back in storage for next year. We are going to start to decorate that Friday Sept 30th and probably that whole weekend as well! OOOOOO I can't wait!!!!
as we are now compared to when we were kids , we definitely decorate more "over the top" now. We didnt have alot of money so many decorations we made, or mostly I made, lol. My mom did get the cool stuff even for then, like the Telco motionettes and Boglins. she has the Red death guy and I have inherited her Phantom of the Opera and witches and few vampires. She still has a few others and had to throw a few out from the cat sprayin them, grrr. I remember my mom and grandma took us out for a long time TOTing and to the "nice" neighborhoods. We would get the whole back of the station wagon LOADeD with candy, lol. We would go late into the night too She has come to help me hand out candy last year and dressed up as a gypsy, she is in my album. Shes coming again this year, dont know what shes gonna be yet. I dont know what Im gonna be for tht matter, lol. I usually have my costumed planned already or Im building it. Im in limbo and have no idea for this year.
