  1. HEHE.. well.. ya know...
  2. Aww... Kammo, you just made my night. Thanks for the proposal
  3. Well, I just watched your "Tea-staining" video and I think I LOVE you! We need to be married and join forces LOL.... I'm kidding of course... But really, naw just kidding.. but seriously! Not really... I mean it! HAHAHHAA
  4. Back from the dead Yeah, I get caught in those home projects too. Hate when that happens. I've got a landscape situation now that I'm desperately trying to blow off.
  5. Hey Terra, just wanted to let you know I was back.... I get so cought up in home projects but its time to get with the best holiday of the year....
  6. wait till you see next years scythe.... muahHAHAHA
  7. That Scythe is really cool!
  8. Thanks! Yeah I love it! wouldnt look right without the paint.
I have been painting pvc for a while now and never had a problem, I just base it with black latex outdoor house paint and it sticks great! No issues, the pvc looks soo much like metal bar that it actually feels like metal when you touch it....
Also, I didnt do it on this project but I know that if you take a heat gun or torch to the pvc and warm it enough to bend, you can bend the pipe however you want it and then do this paint job on it and it looks like old rusted out bent bar. almost a rod iron... you should try it! Thinking of doing my reaper staff this way. This is before the rod iron paint job...and this thing is sturdy, has to be because when on 2' stilts in a reaper outfit you need the extra leg. So bending the pvc will look like rod iron when Im done with it..
  9. Uh....WOWZER! What. a. gate! That technique looks great on PVC. Is the paint sticking good? I've always been nervous with painting PVC and that looks fantastic. The structure of the gate is immense and a perfect entrance to your lair.
