I so hope you're right. I'm sure they'll announce fairly soon that they'll do another one, if "it's all part of the plan".

The Broadway production, or any of the Lloyd Webber productions of Phantom, do not feature an oversize Don Juan mask with red eyes. I'm not sure what show you're talking about. The only other mask the Phantom wears in that show is the Red Death skull mask.
I'm still going around as the Phantom for Halloween and for other costume related purposes, no longer performing. We only did that once, with the final scene, as performance rights to the full show are not available (not that any school or amateur group I know could afford to stage it).

I'm glad you loved it as much as almost everyone. Yeah Heath Ledger was WOW in the movie. Supposedly they have enough footage of him that the Joker could play a minor role in a 3rd movie. Christian Bale will only do a 3rd movie if Christopher Nolan writes and directs it again otherwise he won't do it. Christian Bale said it would be good to do a trilogy. Cross your fingers.
