Aw, that's cool! The obelisk is just fine - I've used it every year and it's been rained on several times but no signs of damage... I think it's a combo of it being foam (the paper covering of those dollar store sheets doesn't make any difference in the construction) and using waterproof paint/glue. As long as I don't drop it or fall over it, I think it's going to be around a while.

Well this year for my Mardi Gras party I will be costuming as Charley's Aunt. Will post pictures of the party.

I am waiting to hear what the theme is for my Mardi Gras party this March 7th( the night before.

If the theme warrants it I plan to go as Charley's Aunt ( see avatar & album).

If not then I will see what I can come up with out of my characters.

I would also love to do Ben Franklin.

Your Halloween photos are great.

The characters I will be working on this year are An Egyptian Pharoah and Norman bates' mother. Not very expensive. Fits right into the budget.
