hello, welcome to the forum, I just looked at you albums, great haunt, love the swamp, great job with the lighting!. Very nice first tombstone, love the font you used for it. I read in the welcome section that you are cautious about it, being your first, I will just say if you want to age it, you can find lots of help here, but basically, just slowly play with paint until you get it the way you want, I use balck , olive, brown, grey, and a mixute of sll of the above . There is the dry brush method, and also the water method, , which is simply spray the tomstone with water, spray paint color of your choice, and spray water on it again, it will run down in streaks like alot of real tombstones , don't be afraid of playing around with it, heck, it's just paint and if ya don't like it, you vcan re-paint it, something I have done a few times! LOL, any way, welcome, you have come to the right place, I will warn you though, it gets very addicting!

I got the 2" at Home Depot in Evans.

I think Terra did a stain glass thingy. She does great work on tombstones and everything else she does. I have ask her many questions and she is ALWAYS very helpful.
are you using the 2" pink foam? took me forever to find it up here. we have 4 Home Depots & 3 Lowe's and only one Home Depot carries it. I'll p.m. you the sites for some tombstones. I have a couple of pics of the ones i made in my album

I've got a couple that I'm working on. A grim reaper, tombstones, graveyard fence and some bodies. I am really in the experimentation mode working with the foam right now. I have the framework for the grim reaper about done. I have a large front window with the curve or arch on top that I am hoping to temporarily turn into a stained glass window. Havent quite figured out how to do it yet. I'm sure someone on here has.

Yes! I love this site! what props are you working on? I have been making boards, out of foam, for my windows. hopefully, will give it the haunted house look. Cathy
