  1. Heh, heh. I can NEVER forget about fitness. 'Tis a fortunate addiction, though it can alienate people, so I will shut up about it! I forget that normal people see it as work, whereas its a fun journey for me to see what my body is capable of.

Now, on to the real fun stuff, Halloween. If the money gods are good to me, the walkway/tunnel thing will happen. My work is never the same in terms of volume, so I can never really budget because I never know how much I am going to be working with. However, things have been good and busy as of late, so maybe it will continue and I can show my neighbors how insane I really am on Halloween!
  2. LOL I knew the fitness thing would come up sooner or later kind of hoping you had forgotten about that LOL ACtually I was 43 this year and According to my two boys 18 and 15 im a hot mom , which translates into you dont look bad for a mom LOL whatever that means Ive been married 20 years this year and I havent changed much. Ive been walking a lot. I try to keep my weight steady. If I go up a few pounds Im mindful to get if off quick I dont work out. I just walk and watch what I eat. Well sometimes I watch what I eat. I do love to bake so thats hard to do sometimes Ok there you have it the fitness thing....now back to halloween. That walkway sounds great. I do a walk through haunted house all the way around my house. My husband builds the frame every year and we enclose it with tarp top and sides. Pitch black inside. different scenes and every year we add to it. Its a big hit with the TOT each year only the pressure is on each year to do more and make it better so be warned!!! There is no such thing as doing a little walk way and leaving it at that I would love to see pics when you do yours though.
  3. Yeah, the wife and I actually have some money this year, so we are going to add to the very basic set up that we had in that picture. We have spent only $50-$100 a year on Halloween, so this year we plan to spend a little more and go bigger. I am thinking about an enclosed walkway to the front door, 20 feet or so, with black light, strobe and fog machine.

How is the fitness thing going for you? I continue to learn more that helps me on my journey, and I am happy to share what I have learned!
  4. Dont worry about it! I wish I could be like you and stay away from this place Actually I plan on trying to do that after Halloween Hope you had a good year. Are you working on anything for this years Halloween?
  5. By the way, thanks for the Thanksgiving greeting below. I suppose that I am a bit of a heel for not posting year-round, but I like to keep Halloween scared to the point of MAKING myself forget about it until September or so. However, this year, the juice started to flow in mid-August and I could not think of a better place than this forum.

I hope things are good on your end.

    Take care,

    Joey
  6. Thanks for the New Year's wishes, same to you. Like I said, I am happy to help in any fitness related matters that you may have. I live for the stuff; and I am learning more helpful things everyday in my own lifting/diet. I am at jhwatersllc@gmail.com since I am rarely on here during the winter.

    Take care!
  7. Wishing my friend a Fabulous New Year and nothing but Health and Happiness in 2009!
  8. OK so no....I havent done a thing. I have been working two jobs and well there is just no time. However I just gave notice on the night job and soon I will have my nights free So then there will be no excuse for not exercising. So in two weeks, I have two weeks of excuses left and then nothing.
