Do you post a video on YouTube of your entire setup on the big day? I would love to see what some of your creatures look like in their display areas/how you set it all up. I bet there is a line around the block for your house on Halloween! Truly amazing artwork!
I always use Paperclay and/or DAS clay over the Celluclay to acheive the smooth texture you're referring to. The Celluclay merely acts as a base over the styrofoam.
Laurie, What type of clay do you use as the final layer on your sculptures? The vampiress and bride props look so lifelike! I really want to try to make a Dobby house elf for next year (and to hang out in my classroom during the off season). How do you make the skin look so real?
