Zellers and Canadian Tire finally started to put out stuff, but shock at the prices, I saw some props as same as last year, but a lot more expensive! Why the mark up? Still not sure the situation with Spirit, some might open this weekend, but I don't really know myself, as the locations too (not sure they will open the same as last year?). A quick thank you for the few who came last weekend (sorry Nancy to missed you, Sunday). For this weekend, not sure if I will work on any props, I know I need to clean my collection in the basement. Might put a batch of stuff to sell next week on Kijiji, or anyone of this group who want's first dibs, will post pics to all of you first. Anyone who want's to come and help me, or do something together, please contact me, I will be home Saturday afternoon (Between 12:00pm to 5:00 pm is good with me). Nothing for Sunday, I do need to rest and do pernonal stuff... Also, I just want to mention that starting October, my weekends will be very busy, so, if you want some of my help, this is the time, I have family coming all October at my house. One last note, Rhona as new stuff, but to expensive for my taste, but they had a nice cute scarecrow for only 2.50$ each, so, with just a dollarama mask and some gluegun action, and bamboo stick to hold the arms, I have my scarecrow, cost less than 4$! I am trying to locate others like me (and my wife) in the Ottawa region, that loves Halloween and we meet together to talk, show off our props, build stuff together, inform of where to shop in which stores has specials and such. I and Doto and others (from this forum) have already gotten together a few times and we had lots of fun. Actually, 3 more people from this forum might come to my house tomorrow and Sunday. I just created the group last week, and we are about 15 members till now.
