I've never lived in the Dallas area and will give you more details in a PM or email, but not tonight because I've still got much work to do and am very tired. I will say that I live outside of Austin sort of in a small town, but really between Austin and that small town. For safety reasons, I don't post my private info publicly, but we did have some fires in our area too, not too long ago. We recently got some much-needed rain, though. And you're right about Texas haunters. I was surprised they had groups for Dallas area haunters and Houston area haunters but nothing here for my area. Why not Texas in general or what are we considered, Southwest US? To me, we seem more South Central as far as the US goes. And I do have to say that I don't build my own haunt because of the podunk area that I live in and also time issues, but I do frequent other haunts and the major haunted attractions in the area. My entire family goes - I live alone but I'm talking mother, step-father, brother and his family. And of course, I do attend some halloween parties. It all just depends on how things are scheduled. You would think that with so many people in our state we would have more haunters. It bugs me at times. Rowlett is located just North East of Dallas. I'm originally from Mineral Wells, which is where a lot of the recent wildfires where happening over by Possum Kingdom Lake.
