Hello James, Thankyou for taking the time to explain everything. Wow, really great job! I would have sworn you had black fluorescent light on the porch. Your lighting is great! Thanks again & Take care, H1
There are actually no black lights in my current display; on the porch I have 4 can lights in the ceiling and I removed all the normal bulbs and replaced them with colored CFL bulbs. If you look at this image you can see them http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/w...0/P1000533.jpg I left one center one on the long part of the pouch out and the two ends have a blue bulb while on the short part of the porch I have a red bulb. There is a green bulb aimed at the porch in the garden and behind the fake boarded windows there was a skeleton in a box covered in black fabric that had a blue bulb on him. In the yard I have one green flood light in the front and several small blue bulbs spotlighting parts of the yard. I picked up a bunch of yard spot lights cheap after Christmas one year and I added some cones from home depot clamp lamps to them to help make them more of a spot light; painted the cones black on the outside surface.
Hi James B. I really like what you did with your home and the pictures are great! Your lighting is very cool- spooky, yet colorful. I like what you did, I never seen that before. It is very impressive. If I may, I would like to know how you got the black-light effecct near the porch. There is color is great and I am perplexed how you got such a nice glow over such a large space with the black light. I have found that black light does'nt travel far, so to achieve this look, I assume you used quite a few? Anyway, great job! Hope you have a good evening.....and please join my friends list, if you would like. Take care, H1
