Hi Barb - your haunt looks awesome this year! Looks like your bridge turned out great too. Glad you were able to find a way to make it work.
hey there!, Just thought I would give you an update. I was looking for a piece of expanded steel to make a bridge, awhile back, well we ended up making a bridge out of 3 ramps that we use for the riding mower. I have a picture of it in my album 99% done. It has dolls a and manniquin heads and is lit up underneath. turned out pretty cool.
Just now starting to figure out what I'm gonna do this year. I have a few things that I'm sure will be included in the yard, but I haven't figured out my final layout or how it will all tie together. Got a lot of work ahead of me...
I've been in home depot so many times, but I guess I never noticed it. I have to make a special trip and see if Ive been walking past it with out noticing. hows your halloween planning or building going so far? I made a mummy on monday ( a holiday here) I thought I could whip him off in an hour, took a bit longer than I expected. I don t have patience for anything arrrrghh! lol its all good , lata, barb
Hi Barb, Not sure what's available in your area, but most home stores (Lowes', Home Depot, etc.) down here carry sheets of expanded metal. It's usually a little pricey, but for no bigger piece than what you're looking for it shouldn't be too bad. If the home stores don't carry it, you might try to find a farm store in your area like Tractor Supply or Orschelns. (Not sure if they are in CA or not, but I'm sure there's something like them up there.) Good luck!
hey there, thanks for your input on the chicken wire bridge idea. where in the world would you buy a piece of expanded steel anyways! I have no idea what so ever.... or how much it would cost. any ideas there? thanks, barb
