Yes, things are good. I am planning to upgrade my tombstones this year. Terra and some others have good tutorials from which I will steal ideas. My problem is that most of my props are from when the kids were young and the wife didn't want to scare them. So, I really need to make things more mature. My main project, I think, will be "Light Show Master" to orchestrate my haunt. I've been wanting to do more in that area but DMX is really more than I need right now. We should plan on visiting each other next year!
Hi Attain, Things are good here. Thanks for asking. I'm hoping this reply finds the same for you. I finished my packing away about a week ago though I am still finding little things that somehow got missed getting put away but I have a few small boxes that I left out in my home office that I keep the candles (so they don't melt or become mishappen in the heat of the attic) and glass goblets...etc in do they can find a home for the year. With the Holidays coming up I think I am going to await until the new year to begin a project though I am like you. I have a few things left out to fix/tune up. Mainly I need to take out the batteries I melted into the candles in my floating candelabra so it is ready for new ones next year. That is not to say I am not doing any Halloween planning though! ha. I am drafting on paper an organist and his pipe organ for next year. I have a great spot where this can go right out in front on the corner where all the ToT's have to turn down the street. I am on a corner with a large overhanging tree right there that makes that spot very dark so that seems to be the best spot to put new props and their lighting. I built a 7' Frankenstein for this past halloween and he needs a bride so I also want to make a Bride of Frankenstein to compliment him. How about you? Do you have plans for new props?
HP- How are things? Are you working on anything? I am just about finished packing everything up and putting it away. I left a few things out to be repaired or redesigned. i.e. fog chiller. Any plans for projects coming up?- Attain
HP- I look forward to working with you. I have been decorating the outside of the house for about 10 years. It started when the kids were old enough to know what Halloween was all about. Now they are older and my stuff looks like it was meant for kids. So, I am starting to upgrade everything and this site has been a huge help.
