We gave out about 80 hot dogs at the end of the night when we throw a neighborhood "Final BOO!" so the folks can enjoy our haunt and linger a bit longer if they like. We weren't sure if Mother Nature would spoil the fun - I put "Rain Breaks the Spell" on my flyers. . .so it's never certain how it will pan out. But the moon was out and the night was grand! The hearse looked quite eeerie - so MysterE was pleased that all his hard work paid off. Neighbors even brought food to share! If I had to choose which was my favorite night - I think the public TOT night was the best. Our party the night before was also a blast - but I was soooo tired at the end. Got to bed around 3:00 am!
Now I am recovering from an "all-nighter" to put away the decorations. They have been piled in our house ( I posted pics in my profile albums) and I just couldn't seem to make a dent in everything that needed to be packed away. To look at the front yard - one would never know we celebrated Halloween! We got all those decorations put away in two days time. BUT - Inside the house - it looks like a Halloween bomb went off!! LOL

Sooo - when hubby was sound asleep - I stole away to start digging in! This morning - after being up all night - I can actually see my floors again! Our kids will be flying home for Thanksgiving - so I don't want too many skellys sitting about when they get here for turkey! So nice to hear back from you - across the pond as they say! BOO! and big hugs to you!

Hallow HSintheUK!!! Just had to stop in to say it again -- I LOVE your new avatar! I like changing avatars too - like changing costumes for Halloween! The blinking eyes are especially cute!! I have yet to get that technically sophisticated! So did indeed Halloween Suck in the UK this year? Or was it as grand as I imagine?

Yes we had a pretty good night, although I think that the H1 N1 - That is going around cut the amount down that we usually get.
