i love thrift stores too. and you are like my daughter, she loves going early in the morning to get the good stuff at garage sales. she hits them fast and hard. me, i go later and take my time so i don't miss anything. so any ideas on what you're thinking about building? what's your theme this year? no more taking it easy at work, i'm pulling my weight now. i did go back for a check up for a four week check, but she wants me to come again in 4 months. the dr told me if my overy looked good, she would leave it. she said it kept facial hairs from coming. eek, facial hair, i don't want to shave. so she had another dr assist her in the surgery, and he argued with her she should have taken the ovary too. he claims the ovaries can go bad fast, [especially at my age i suppose] after the uterus is gone. my dr dissagrees. so i have to go in four months from now to see how it looks. i think it will be fine. i think she knows i never go to the dr for regular checkups, and this is her way of cracking the whip. my daughters babysitter had a hysterectomy, they left the ovaries, and a year later they had to go back in and remove the ovaries. okay, that's not happening to me. still having the hot flashes. i pushed my steam table to the dining room, and my glasses steamed up and i couldn't read the orders. i'm going back, i want to make sure that baby is good
great scores at the yard sales. There have been a few yard sales around here the past couple of weekends. I always mean to go to them, but , dang, they're so early in the morning. By the time I get around to going the good stuff is already gone. And I have been getting the itch to build something, so I need to start hitting the sales. and thrift stores. ( I LOVE THRIFT STORES!!!) On the other hand, it's supposed to be 90 freakin' degrees this weekend, so that itch to build probably won't last past Thursday. Are you taking it easy at work? Are the hot flashes easing up? Not going back for a checkup for 4 months? That's a long time. Is that normal to wait so long to go back? (Unless it involves removing stitches or refills for pain killers, I never go back for check-ups. )
so how you doing? i've been back to work since the 1st. just tired but getting back in the swing. the 16th i go off light duty at work. right now my daughter is setting up a garage sale in my garage. she loves putting them on, i love going to them. we went to one the other day in a very rich area, i got a bunch of very nice clothes for $2.00 each. we're talking a pant suit, shirt, and jacket. and i got a couple of halloween costumes, like lady gaga for $0.50. well, another day, another dollar.

hey lady! How is work? Hope you're not over- doing it. Sorry to hear about the menopause thing. It sux to have to go thru it once, but twice well, just ain't right. ugh.. feel for ya. Nothing new here. Getting a ton of yard work done, tho. The weather has been perfect- o here.
yeah, my doctor appointment went well. doc was real happy with me, i go back to work tomorrow. i have to go back for a follow up appointment in 4 months. they want to check how things are then. she told me it looks like my one overy left has put me back in menopause. i figured as much, i've been having hot flashes since i got home from surgery. i still have to see the other dr in a few days, now since the swelling went down, there will probably be a slight adjustment, but it won't amount to much. and how are you doing? anything new, exciting, even boring? love talking to you.
it's today. we drove all the way down there thurs, and the dr wasn't there. i'm pretty sure she is going to release me though. i feel real good.

not yet. getting bored and poorer. i see one dr on the 26th, i hope she will release me.
