I thought some of you would like to see a few behind the scenes photos of Papa Voodoo being put together. As you can see, Steve's evil genius mind is hard at work. Some of the faces he is making, may be in response to me asking questions like.......what does that thingy do?
Ah, now I see how those are done. Super impressive and that artistry of the dragon head is amazing as well.
Hope you don't mind but I embedded the video for you. You use the filmstrip button in the posting box.
What an awesome thread and perfect timing. Just had gone through my parents pictures last week and found a picture of a tiny Terra:
My mom made this costume. The broom is sewn on the robe and just had to pretend to hold it ;)
Before posting any pictures please be sure that any addresses are NOT visible. Either your Reaper's or yours. Blur, block or place a bloody hand over any address before taking a picture and posting it here.
He's come a long way Steve!
All of your behind the scenes work is never truly seen by most people.
My hat is off to you big time!
The mechanics and all the work you've done, and are doing with Papa Voodoo, is mind boggling to me
Kudos to you my friend!!!
I use the PL300 foam board adhesive for the PVC channels but Glidden Gripper (both sides) for the flat surface of the foam board itself. You see - if there is air then the foam board adhesive would work (great for the PVC channels) but when I used to carve into the flatter sides of the board I would discover that it never dried and gunked up my carving tools. That's why I switched the Glidden Gripper for that area.
I just tried sanding the two sides of the board before gluing with Glidden...
