  1. I LOVE that movie!! I rented it from the library only a day ago and have watched it twice so far! Isn't Amy Adams the cutest person in the world?! I want to make the Brushetta with Salsa as seen in the movie but haven't been able to find that recipe. It's also amazing how similar in appearance Meryl is to Julia, very little make-up or alteration was applied! The height difference is another story though...
  2. And if you have yet to see it, try the movie Julie and Julia featuring Meryl Streep and Amy Adams. Very cute. Now - please get an ample supply of bubble wrap, and a very think packing box - and plenty of styro peanuts -- then box up and mail that glass box to me!! Will enjoy seeing the recipes when you post for sure!
  3. Interesting thing about the cookbook. I've sent it to a reputable antique rare book dealer so that the pages and binding can be stablized then sealed in a airtight glass box similar to what you see in museums for rare books. I did get him to see if it was a one of a kind or if there were later printings of the run. There were later printings, so I pulled one from the local library to see what I can use. When I compile enough, I'll post them in the Party section.
  4. Hallow GV - I think you should guard that Julia Child book with your life!! AND your after-life!! BOO!
