My first base was Minot, ND. Now, back where I'm from (Georgia) they didn't even teach us about any states above kentucky. When I saw the ND, I thought I was going to the Netherlands! LOL Omaha is warm compared to N.D. After that I went to Myrtle Beach. YAY!! Then I went to Kadena on Okinawa. Another wonderful place. Should have stayed in and retired. But my philosophy was, that I came in with no stripes so I was going to leave with no stripes. LOL

"Haunter's night out" - that's better. You had mentioned "the wife" - I thought you meant yours. I was picturing your wife making all this food for you and then leaving you and your buddy alone to watch your scary movie - kind of like a football game.

So you have that empty nest thing going on - how is that going? It's good to keep busy - especially with Halloween projects!

It's a small world!! What squadron were you in? Did you retire? MY hubby did his 20. I did 9 years as a supply guy. Where else were you stationed?

Hey Glyphen, I see you live in Omaha. My hubby and I lived there (actually Bellevue) off & on for 11 years. He was stationed at Offutt AFB. love the area. Fellow haunter, Jen1984, is supposed to send me some of y'all's snow. LOL We moved here (Greenville, SC) in '99. Where we get more ice storms than snow.

So was it your room mate that was the other part of your party?? lol!!! Geez the food sounds amazing, Yum!!!!! Yeah, well if I would of showed up I definetly would of ruined the whole guys night out, lol!!!! So do you have another time planned??? I still need to send you that art. I have a propsal I have to get done, then I will work on it. Sometimes it sucks being busy, lol!!!
