So sorry to hear that. Looks like they offer a great experience. Love the tree face on the fb page. If you are friends of theirs maybe they can put together a list for you (photos of some of the unique stuff that was taken) and share it with the forum so people can keep an eye out on eBay and craig's list for anything that they are trying to sell through those venues.

Found this in the store today. Nice size for headstones, lightweight polystone (?), 12.99. First of the garden statutes I've seen that have halloween implications. They did have probably 5-6 of the phrenology head busts on the shelf. Photos have been posted before in the Ross threads so didn't grab one. Only other thing I saw was glass hollow skulls in various colors like pink and blue/green, more decor use than halloween I thought. Oh and I did look for the suitcases today but...

Just read that Richard Hatch from Battlestar Galactica fame (Apollo) has passed away from pancreatic cancer. Only 71. Think I saw every episode of BG and he was my favorite character. Earliest I remember him acting was from his time on All my Children as Tara's boyfriend, Phillip. Always thought he was so cute, even as he got older he retained that handsome guy look. I know he stayed active at Comic Cons and just so sad to learn of his death.

Shopping in a Safeway grocery store the other day and spotted this Death Wish Coffee Co brand of coffee. Came in ground, whole bean or pods. Love the packaging. Anyone try this to judge how it tastes? I'd almost buy it just to save the packaging for halloween use. I see from the internet that Walmart also carries it in the 16 oz bag whole bean, 5 lb bag ground, and K-cups. Prices for the 16 oz are a little less expensive than the grocery store pricing.

Hmm. Assuming you are building a casket bar set up I would consider making it a 3-sided rectangle (4th side open to you behind the bar where you can access your mixology ingredients, maybe need posts along the open side to help support the top) with solid bottom base and an open top for the see through material to get placed on. I'd have the coffin carrying handles (or whatever they are called) used as bar towel holders. Paint or stain the outside of the casket and line the inside with a...

Interesting comments. Not everyone flies when on vacation or going away to school but I can see it attracting a lot of attention at the airport, bag carousel, etc. It Luggage is a British company and in the luggage business for some time apparently and were the first to do the expanding pieces. See that they are selling the It skull luggage on amazon (search "It Luggage Skull"). They even made a skull and roses patterned hard case set. Sure Ross' prices are pretty good and might beat...

Happened to notice these suitcases when I stopped in a store today from It Luggage. The tagging on it says "New Ultra Strong", 10 year warranty. Perfect slide, 8 wheel spinners. Expander 25% Extra Capacity. Didn't check out the price. If this year is similar to past years, Ross will start getting in Egyptian figurines and other cool items soon along with the spring merchandise. Last year found the large crocodile skulls and some Egyptian items on 2/22. Found a number of busts, human...

Lots of people have done things around a TV as a prop (thinking of the Poltergeist girl and last season Tekky had the Terror Vision tv sets). Today I saw a really well done take on that theme done as a movie promo for the "Rings" with Samara coming out of a TV at at TV electronics showroom. Posted the link to it under horror but certainly could fit as a thread here too for discussion....and sure some of you guys have already done something like this with your actors. ...

This was so well done. Obviously as a promo for the opening of the movie the "Rings" (Feb. 3) but I bet some of those people didn't sleep that night or maybe needed a change of underclothes before going home!

Been sick most of the week and still recuperating so never got out to locate the special tip screwdriver I need. I really don't have any idea how these things work. When I get it opened up I'll take pics.

If you are looking for pirate's chest, it's Disney's POTC merchandise and looks really cool in person. I too think if you are seriously thinking about it to get it before too much time goes by and they become difficult to find and more expensive. I paid around $30 for mine and think it was worth it. Not sure what the retail price of it was. I thought the chest was kind of heavy and the handles on the side help in carrying. The plastic isn't cheap, nicely molded and the light up heart and...
