Luck and scroundging..... One of the pilings, the one without bark, I found while walking the dogs along the creek, carried the sucker to the road and then picked it up with the van. The other three I got lucky with. A friend works at a private school, but treed lot just off the river in town, and they were just starting an expansion and had to cut down a bunch of old oak trees. They cut me three hunks of wood out of the trunks and voila, pilings.....
