Hi GBH. My apologies for the delay in replying, but my health has not been too good of late and I have not been around on the forum. Chippenham is just about 15 mins drive from me.. such a shame I could not contact you before the big night this year and get you involved in the Samedi Manor Haunt. We still had the Haunt this year, despite my not being in the best of health. I told my son that even if I was to expire before Halloween night, he was to display me in the front garden amongst the props.. I would be delighted if you were able to join us next year. We always have a great time in our walk through haunt. It's proving to be very popular and I'm sure you would enjoy getting involved. Hopefully we can keep in touch on the forum and possibly arrange a meet up at some point. Local haunters are very few and far between, but I'm convinced that with a little application we can do it just as well as our friends "across the pond". I look forward to hearing from you. Hi Baron S. Currently I reside in Chippenham. Sadly though I'm unable to do very much for Halloween as for some reason that is totally beyond the relms of my understanding Halloween is a virtual non-celebration in our country (as far as I know anyways). A friend of mine from Ireland said over there they all go mad for Halloween...it's just a shame that England hasn't quite grasped the concept of Halloween. We're getting better as a country but we're still not quite there yet (I wish I lived in America or somewhere that really got behind Halloween and went all out). As for decorating I'd love to but for the moment I'm in a tiny flat with my parents and I just don't think they get the whole Halloween thing. When I get a place of my own it's gonna permanently be decorated for Halloween...I can see it now, skeletons, witches, black cats, tombstones...I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it. I'd love to come to your haunt this Halloween...would just be so nice to be around others who also love Halloween.
Hi. Just thought I'd pop in and welcome a fellow UK member. I'm in Wiltshire too..Calne to be exact. I do a home/garden walkthrough haunt every year, only one in town as far as I'm aware. Had a great night with close to 200 TOT's last year. Where abouts in Wiltshire are you? do you do a haunt or just decorate? Hope to get to know you on the forum. Kind regards, Baron S.
