I used rapid set stucco patch from Home Depot. The trick is to use a glue/water mixture (instead of just water) to mix it up with. I also add some paint to the mixture to get a base color. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have used it on a few projects in the past. You can mix some paint with it to color it. I thin it out so that I can apply it with a chip brush but you can adjust the mixture so that it is thicker. You can even apply it with a texture hopper. One coating gives you a nice "cement" like texture and provides some strength. If you expect it to be very strong you have to apply a thick coat or multiple coats. For tombstones I figured I would only add 1 thin coat since I don't want to loose the...

Hard coated this one with foam coat from HWFF. Finish is more durable and rougher than the Dry-Loc finish. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks for all the comments! I used "Glidden Gripper" paint as the adhesive. I have done a couple of foam projects in the past but have never used gripper. It seemed to bond very well. I also used "dry-loc" to coat and seal ( not lock-tite) I had used a foam coat in the past to hard coat but the dry-lock does provide a finer texture that seems to work well for the tombstone look.
