hey there Fritter! For my dead heads, I use acrylic also, but i make sure it's indoor/oudoor paint. I like the Apple Barrel Gloss brand that you can get at Michael's and I purchase the small 2 oz bottles, good selection of colours. They also have Glow in the Dark paint that I use in our black light area. I have not 'weather proofed' them as I do use indoor/outdoor paint. I'm too nervous to expose them to the elements anyway, and our deck is covered for our walkthrough. A lot of work goes into them, and they go out the night before or the day of Halloween, and I don't want to risk the chance of them getting stolen. I did find out the following year when some were made, that the heads stick together, so I have to wrap them individually when done! Hope this answers your question!
Hi! Thanks for posting me back! Im from milton its sbout 40 minutes west of toronto. I just checked out your albums I'm loving the traveling carnival theme! I love all the sideshow acts. I have also painted some styrofoam heads, with acrylic paint but some got ruined this year due to frost... I was wondering What kind of paint do you use ? Do you waterproof them? Thanks!
Hi Fritter, I have FINALLY posted my Carnival pics and some from my hobby. I've FINALLY got the knack of uploading!

I am 30 minutes north of Napanee in the village of Enterprise. Judging by your 2010 photos, you go all out for your yard! Great job! Love the clowns and the dead doll with the circular saw in it's head! Very 'Hellraiser'ish! What's ur line of work? Nice to see another fellow Canadian! thededmatter
